All our actions are for others

Throughout our lives, we strive for winning, defeating, acquiring and achieving. But all the endeavor is never for us. It is to show the other, it is for the other. Because if the other is not there, then who would label you as a winner or an achiever. In the absence of the other, there is no winning and no losing.

The other is not only outside, it is also inside. Imagine you are not bothered about the other, even then there is a feeling of happiness. There is someone inside who is happy. Your body cannot be happy (see my post – “Are you really the person in the Mirror” and “In search of the “My”)You are happy because “YOU” have labelled “yourself” as the winner. Both “you” and “yourself” is present in your mind. One “I” wants to win and the other “I” wants to be happy. The one who wins and the one who feels happy.

The moment you drop or you become aware of the presence of these “I”s, winning and losing disappears. Then you do not strive for anything, you just do your work, without bothering about winning and losing.

This is a revolution.
