Novonanmek is an Infrastructure Architecture & Assurance company.

We develop system architectures, architectural standards and assurance frameworks for complex, multi-party infrastructure ecosystems.

Modern infrastructure is increasingly interconnected. Large systems such as carbon management and hydrogen logistics are not built as single projects; they emerge over decades through multiple developers, operators, investors, infrastructure owners and public authorities. Without a common architectural foundation, independently developed projects can become fragmented, duplicated, incompatible or difficult to expand.

Novonanmek addresses this system-level gap.

We establish the architectural principles, boundaries, interfaces, topology, participation models and governance structures that allow independently developed infrastructure to function as part of a coherent, scalable system.

Our work introduces Architectural Risk as a distinct consideration alongside conventional engineering, financial, regulatory, environmental and commercial due diligence. The objective is to protect the long-term value of infrastructure by addressing risks such as fragmentation, duplication, under-utilisation, incompatibility, constrained expansion and stranded infrastructure.

Our approach is designed for infrastructure that must evolve over decades rather than individual project cycles. Through architectural assurance and Dynamic Compliance, we provide a framework for preserving system integrity, interoperability and scalability as infrastructure, participants, technologies and demand change over time.

Our current architectural frameworks include:

HOPT-AS — the Hydrogen-Oriented Pipeline Transport Architecture Standard for CCUS infrastructure, providing a system-level architecture for multi-emitter, multi-hub, multi-storage and utilization ecosystems.

HLAS — the Hydrogen Logistics Architecture Standard, establishing a common architectural foundation for the development and expansion of hydrogen logistics infrastructure.

We work at the level between policy and individual projects: translating long-term infrastructure objectives into an architecture within which projects can be developed coherently.

To develop the architectural foundations upon which major infrastructure ecosystems can be built, expanded and preserved for the long term.

We believe infrastructure should not merely be engineered to work today. It should be architected to remain coherent, scalable and valuable as the system grows and changes.
