Standards & Benchmarks

1. Hub-Only Pipeline Topology Architecture Standard (HOPT-AS), Version 1.31

The HOPT-AS v1.31 standard defines an architecture and assurance framework for carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) systems. It sets out hub-only pipeline topology, Architecture Classes, system boundaries, participation and topology rules, and Dynamic Compliance and Real-Time Stewardship provisions to preserve architectural integrity as infrastructure evolves.

2. Hydrogen Logistics Architecture Standard (HLAS), Version 1.11

HLAS v1.11 establishes an architecture and assurance framework for hydrogen production, aggregation, transportation, storage, distribution, and export infrastructure. It defines Architecture Classes, building blocks, system boundaries, topology rules, and Dynamic Compliance to help preserve interoperability, scalability, and architectural integrity throughout infrastructure development.

3. Nuclear Repowering Interface Architecture (NRIA): Standardization of Nuclear Repowering — A Three-Point Framework for Classifying Turbines, Heat Output and Interface Architectures

NRIA organizes nuclear repowering around three elements: the existing turbine envelope, the interface architecture, and the heat-output class. Defined categories and compatibility relationships provide a common way to classify repowering configurations without prescribing a single project design.

Nuclear Engineering Interface Architecture (NEIA): Standardization of SMR Integration

NEIA standardizes the relationship between application demand, reactor capability, and energy integration. Its classification system and deterministic matrix distinguish allowed, conditional, and prohibited configurations, creating a repeatable language for describing SMR integration possibilities.
