Infrastructure Standards & Risk Assessment

Standardized frameworks for better-informed capital allocation

Novonanmek Material Sciences Private Limited develops standardized infrastructure and nuclear configuration frameworks to help lenders assess projects against defined architectural benchmarks and permitted configuration categories.

Our services provide structured, evidence-based assessments that help identify infrastructure risks, configuration-related uncertainties and deviations from established standards—supporting more informed project screening and capital-allocation decisions.

Infrastructure Risk Benchmark Assessment (IRBA)

IRBA assesses how effectively a project's infrastructure architecture mitigates recognized risks against the applicable benchmark standards: HLAS for Hydrogen Logistics and HOPT-AS for Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS).

The assessment identifies architectural gaps and residual risks, providing lenders with a structured understanding of how the proposed infrastructure compares with the relevant benchmark.

Nuclear Configuration Eligibility Assessment (NCEA)

NCEA assesses nuclear project configurations against Novonanmek's standardized frameworks: NRIA for Nuclear Repowering and NEIA for Small Modular Reactor (SMR) Integration.

The assessment determines whether a project's documented configuration falls within the configurations permitted by the applicable standard. Depending on the framework, configurations may be permitted, conditional or prohibited. This helps lenders distinguish recognized configurations from those requiring further consideration or falling outside the permitted solution space.

Supporting Better Investment Decisions

IRBA focuses on how effectively infrastructure architecture mitigates known risks. NCEA focuses on whether a nuclear project fits within a defined configuration framework.

Together, these services provide lenders with structured assessments to support project comparison, identify areas requiring further scrutiny and inform capital allocation. They complement—not replace—financial, engineering, safety, regulatory and credit due diligence.
